CULTURAL FREEDOM

As our country is independent, people enjoy freedom in their lives, career and also in political activities. Our country gives much importance to our ancestral traditions. But in my view it is being buried by foreign culture. People think that foreign culture is a mark of sophistication. Especially the young men are attracted by the trendy culture. Most of them think that dressing fashionably is a pride among all. They don’t think of the ill-effects of that culture.

Now-a-days, foreign culture is lauded mostly by young girls. Instead of choosing our traditional attire, they run after western attire. The clothing worn by foreign people suit their lifestyle, but that is not applicable for us. We have to adore our traditional values and pursue it in our lifestyle.

Western culture has not only lured us in our dressing but also in our food habits. The food habit which we have in our country is slowly vanishing. People run after fast foods and canned items. Without proper awareness, they consume fastfoods which leads to diseases and at times it results in death also.

The so called modern lifestyle is pulling us towards social evils. A fine example is the craze for alcohol among the youth. The saddest part is the fad of alcohol among women too. Young girls become addicted to it on a larger scale. Time will reveal the fatal consequences of it. Thus I conclude that the western culture, in the name of freedom is ruining the lives of youth.

Almighty God

The Lord has done Great things

“When the Lord brought the prisoners back to Jerusalem, it seemed as if we were dreaming. Then we were filled with laughter and we sang happy songs. Then the other nations such the Lord have done great things for them. The Lord has done great things for us and we are very glad”. (Psalm 126: 1-3)

Our God is the Almighty God. He is doing great things in our daily life. When difficulties occur in the life, many are perplexed and not being able to overcome. The Lord does great things for his children and delivers them from their sufferings and difficulties.

First of all, the Lord will do great things to change the bitterness. Widow Naomi lost her two sons in young age. Their wives became widows. Naomi said, “The almighty God has dealt very bitterly with me” (Ruth 1: 20). The Lord made widow Ruth marry Boaz and blessed her with a boy child. Her bitterness has been changed and happiness was formed in her life. “The Lord has done great things to Naomi” (Ruth 4:13, 14).

Secondly, the Lord will do great things to take away fear. When the people of Israel were delivered from the Egyptian bondage and were going to Canaan, the Red Sea was on the way. The host of Pharaoh was coming after them. The people cried to the Lord. Through Moses, God divided the Red sea and the made the Israelites cross the sea. When the host of Pharaoh was on the midway in the sea, the water returned and they were destroyed. This great thing took away their fear; they put their trust in the Lord. “The Lord has done great things to His own people” (Exodus 14: 31).

Finally, the Lord will do great things for removing our sickness and weakness. “Jesus saw a woman who had a spirit of infirmity and was bent over and could not straighten up at all. Jesus called her and took away her weakness and made her straight” (Luke 13: 11-14). The woman was healed and removed from all her infirmities. She was very happy to receive the Lord’s blessing.

Dear friends, our God is an almighty God to change our bitterness, fear and all infirmities. We can walk in fear of the Lord, we can obey the word of God and we can make our supplication to Him. Definitely we will be free from sickness, weakness and all our infirmities.

The Lord will do great things in our life.

Be Aware of Black holes

A Black hole is a place where gravity becomes such a powerful force that it overwhelms all other forces in the universe. Once getting inside the Black holes, nothing can escape from it, not even light.

But astral Black holes are events or structures formed far away from us causing little or no impact on us.

There are Black holes in our life, things and people, who sap our time, energy and life-force. The Black holes spoil our physical, mental and spiritual energy that leave us frustrated and empty.

An emotional roller coaster ride can leave us distracted and helpless like nothing else. Emotional turmoil and agitation has the strength of pulling us into the Vortex of Black holes. We are swamped by depression.

Most often we are addicted to soul-sapping like checking our mobile repeatedly, refreshing facebook, worrying endlessly, taking selfies ignoring the moment, watching Television aimlessly and so on.

We must understand the technique of Black holes, become immune to it, and escape from unnecessary emotional whirlpools. We ought to identify what makes us happy and slowly clearing our way towards it. Stop wasting time, energy and life force unpleasantly.
